Deerfield House,
Farnham.
Adjacent to Thorncombe House, this Neo-Georgian-style new-build is also blessed with a sizeable family garden in mature woodland. The design featured a new driveway and gates, offset by naturalistic planting – especially to the side of the house. A swimming pool, hot tub and large entertaining area were added to the rear, with a focus on fairly traditional materials. Planting consisted of amelanchier – a tree noted for its stunning spring blooms and autumnal colours – stipa (feather grass), and euphorbia. Lavender was planted around the pool and patio area for structure. This garden was created in collaboration with Victoria Bailey Gardens.
