This family home had been remodelled in contemporary style but the garden was inelegantly divided by a level change. We focused on creating an even lawn on which the children could play, and incorporating formal and informal seating areas with a pergola and a water feature. Contemporary materials and painted fences echo the style and feel of the house. Climbing hydrangeas, hardy catmint, and pittosporum – sun-loving evergreen shrubs – all feature.
